Sandringham School and the ISS

Sandringham School LogoThe Verulam Amateur Radio Club has worked closely with Sandringham School in preparing its bid to be able to take part in contacting UK astronaut Tim Peake during his mission to the International Space Station.  We are pleased to learn the school has been successful in being short listed with seven other schools for a possible contact with Tim using the amateur radio station on the ISS and look forward to working with the school to make this event successful.

The club has enjoyed a lasting relationship with the school and helped some of their students obtain their Foundation Licence over the last few years.
