At the April meeting of the Verulam Amateur Radio Club Roger Bleaney (M0RBK), and the new Training Co-ordinator, Greg Beacher (M0PPG), presented a summary of teaching needs for the past, present and future.
Seven candidates passed their Amateur Radio Foundation Course in April after taking a course run by Verulam Amateur Radio Club. The course was run as a set of on-line web seminars to help keep venue costs down.

On the 21st June 2014 Verulam Amateur Radio Club set up a station at the mid-summer Gala held as part of the Sandridge 900+ celebrations. This was to mark the contributions made by Radio Amateurs at the nearby Woodstock Hill intercept station which operated during the second world war.
In February 2015 the Club’s Chairman David G4HHJ presented an award to Dr Roger Bleaney M0RBK (left in picture) for his outstanding work in running training courses in recent years for licence examinations.
Verulam ARC’s January club meeting attracted nearly a record number of its members to hear a talk by Alex Cunningham (M0HCL) on the history and development of the use of Morse Code.
