Seven candidates passed their Amateur Radio Foundation Course in April after taking a course run by Verulam Amateur Radio Club.  

The club’s training officer Greg Beacher (M0PPG), (shown seated), ran the course as a set of on-line web seminars to help keep venue costs down.

The students met only as a group for the practical assessments and the examination.

The Club is now planning to hold an Intermediate level course starting in May.  This will be a combination of web seminars and classroom based training.
