Please may I draw your attention to our next CW Fun Day running on Sunday 13 September with controllers calling CQ from Greater Manchester throughout the day 10am to 6pm. (It’s same day as next 145 Alive event). Aim is to encourage new or more experienced cw operators to get on the air and enjoy some short QSOs – rubber stamp or rag chew – with friendly controllers. There are no logins; just short QSOs. I’ve attached the info sheet which I’ve also posted to the usual cw Facebook groups.

I’d be very grateful if you could consider letting fellow club members know, and that everyone is very welcome to call in.

I’m particularly keen to encourage full license holders to call in to our 2 new nets; on 60m 5260 with Adrian G0EHG from 11am, and on 30m on 10.124.50 with Andy G0LLU from 3pm, as well as encouraging Essex CW members to call in to any hf net.
