In December 2016, the club held its annual pre-Christmas meeting which took the form of a ‘Bring and Buy’ accompanied by a seasonal finger buffet.

As part of the ‘Bring and Buy’ there was an auction of some of the smaller items donated to the club, by club member John Welsh (G0NVZ), shortly before he died.

The sale raised £150 pounds and many of the members present went home pleased with their purchases while knowing the monies raised were going towards the club’s funds.
