without using CPS software
Advanced operations are not covered in this video.
The aim is to get this radio working through simplex gateways, repeaters and a hotspot without relying on CPS software. Codeplugs can cause a mental block so I try to avoid delving into spreadsheets and using CPS.
This is a beginner’s guide to using this feature rich radio on FM and DMR. My approach is to take it easy and guide the user through different aspects of using and troubleshooting DMR. It is not heavily edited to show my thought process and websites I used when troubleshooting. I hope this will give insight to what you as a user can do to troubleshoot your situation.
