Seventeen years, two pairs of boots and 171 activations after starting the quest to the SOTA holy grail of Mountain Goat, the goal was achieved on Helvellyn, G/LD-003 on 13 March 2025. An intense week of peak bagging and experiencing high wind, rain, sleet, snow and sunshine made conditions interesting but put enough points in the bag to claim the award. A huge thank you to all the chasers, activators and management team for making the journey so enjoyable. Onward to Goat2 with some new modes and enthusiasm!
