Members of the Club held a BBQ prior to the 50MHz contest on 20/21 June.

The opportunity was taken for the old hands at contesting to introduce the club’s new members to the joys and challenges of such events.  Pictured on the right is Marcus 2E0KIR, supporting John M6FJI.

For both events, the club used the facilities at its field cabin, located high on the Dunstable Downs.  Over 200 QSOs were logged during the weekend’s event as well as much BBQ food consumed.
